Spicy Vegan Buffalo Popcorn Cauliflower Recipe
- 1 head cauliflower
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tablespoons yeast
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
Directions
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Use clean hands to separate the florets from the cauliflower stalk and place the florets into a large bowl.
In a blender or food processor, combine the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour the wet mixture over the cauliflower florets and use clean hands to massage into each and every floret so that all sides are equally covered.
Transfer the cauliflower to a baking sheet and pop the baking sheet into the oven for 30-40 minutes. Every ten minutes or so, use a spatula to mix and flip the cauliflower florets so that they are adequately cooked on all sides.
